Everyone comes to the point where they need to buy a new car. Whether the old one died or it’s your first car, it is an expensive purchase. Buying a car will most likely be the most expensive thing you’ll buy besides your house. Therefore it is important to get a good deal and take your time. When buying a new car there a few things you should consider:
-
First, you will need to look for a certain model that fits your needs, whether its truck, car, SUV or van. Think of how much space you’ll need and base it on your lifestyle.
-
Once you have figured out the style you’re interested in you want to go through the car companies and compare the styles, looking for the one you like. Example you want a SUV, now look at all the SUVS by the car companies.
-
Once you have found a few you like, narrow it down to the top 5.
-
Now that you’ve narrowed it down start comparing prices. Pick up a copy of consumers reports or just an automobile magazine. These will give you a good estimate on a price.
-
Once you’ve looked at your sources find the cheapest and most expensive costs on the 5 cars you like and write them down. By doing this you know if someone’s ripping you off, or giving you a good deal.
-
Now start to compare the gas mileages for the cars. With the gas prices today it is smart to find a fuel efficient vehicle.
-
Once you’ve found the gas mileages for the cars, get out a piece of paper and a pencil. You want to now write out the pros and cons for each vehicle.
-
With the pros and cons on the paper I’m sure you have a good idea to which vehicles you like and which ones are the smartest for your lifestyle.
-
Shop around. Never buy the car you want on spot without looking elsewhere. There are always deals, you just need to be patient and find them.
-
Once you think you’ve found the car you want try to negotiate the price. Salesmen are always trying to sell and will most likely will try and help you find a price that works.
When buying a car it is important to be patient, look around, talk to different salesmen and do your research. If you follow these tips you will find not only a vehicle that fits your lifestyle but one that’s affordable.

I had several problems at the last dealership I purchased a car at. Auction Direct USA helped me purchase a vehicle where other dealerships couldn’t or wouldn’t. My salesperson Terry was very helpful and honest. Thank you Terry

Yesterday I purchased a new car for 34000.00 when completing and singing the document the sales rep pointed out that contract was legally binding and no cooling off period. Today,on checking the contract I noticed that the price was inserted in all columns as 3400.00
What redress do I have ….. he pointed out it was legally binding!!
