If your child has outgrown a baby car seat but you need a booster seat, you’re going to find that there’s a market filled with them.  When it comes time to purchase one, you’re going to find that there are mixed reviews, different brands and so much more.  I made it easy for you and your baby to find the perfect booster seat for you and your car.

Graco Backless TurboBooster Car Seat

This reasonably priced booster seat by Graco is perfect for your child that has graduated from a baby car seat.  It has padded arm rests that are height adjustable and faces forward only and is designed for ages 4-10, 40-100 pounds.  It also comes equipped with hide-away cup holders that are great for drinks and snacks on the go.

Graco High Back TurboBooster Car Seat

This particular Graco version is similar to the first car seat but sits a littler higher up giving your child a little bit more back support when he or she sits in their seat.  This seat fits children 3-10 years old from 40-100 pounds.  It easily converts from a booster seat to a backless booster.  It’s height adjustable, padded and can grow as your child grows.

Clek Olli Booster Seat

This booster seat created by Clek is a unique one because it’s light and compact but gets the job done.  It’s the first backless booster seat that hit the market with a rigid latch connector.  It’s tested and safe to use on your children from 40 to 100 pounds.  It installs and can be removed in less than 10 seconds.  If you’re looking for something unique and easy to use, consider this seat by Clek.

Britax Regent Youth Car Seat

This youth car seat is a little bigger than most of the booster seats mentioned above but this particular brand is probably the best when it comes to comfort.  It’s patented HUGS system gives you 5 tangle-free harnesses along with a belly pad.  It has a flexible LATCH system and this is suitable for children 22 to 80 pounds.

This is just a selection of the booster seats on the market.  Check out a page that I generated with a list of thousands of booster seats.  Browse and check out which one will work for your child and car because it’s all going to vary.

A car today can hook up a lot of things.  From your MP3 player to a DVD player, a car is turning into a home on wheels and it’s almost impossible to not keep yourself entertained if you’re not the driver.  With so many electronics out there, I thought I’d write a post on the type of adapters that are out there so that you can hook up your electronics.

Car adapters for your Ipod -The Ipod today is one of the most popular MP3 players on the market.  With these adapters, you’ll be able to power up and also directly connect your player to your radio so that you can have a crisp and clear sound.

Car adapters for your laptop - Many people didn’t know that you can charge your laptop in the car.  When you do look for adapter, make sure that it’s powerful enough to power your laptop.  I’ve made the mistake in the past and got something cheap and I paid the price because it fried my whole computer.  These adapters are great for those that have a short battery span or you’re going to be using your laptop for a long road trip ahead.

Car adapter for DVD player - If you have a mini DVD player, the battery span on most isn’t that long and the last thing you’ll want to find out is that your DVD player dies in the middle of a movie.  With these adapters, you’ll be able charge your DVD player and you can be ensured that your player won’t die. Make sure you get an adapter that fits your model.

Car adapter for anything -If you have something that plugs in at home, well did you know that there are adapters out there that change your cigarette lighter into an outlet?  This means that you can plus just about anything in.  When you do this though, make sure you know how much power you need before you do so that you don’t ruin what you’re plugging in.

With so many electronics and products out there, these are the most popular adapters when it comes to plugging in your goods.  I would recommend you look at some of these so that you can keep the power going the whole trip.

Save on gas with a gas credit cardGas prices are funny because one month they are reasonable and the next month, you think they won’t go any higher.  Yes, we all need gas to fill up our cars and get places but most people don’t realize that you can save on gas simply by using a credit card.  I know it sounds too good to be true but you really can save but before we get started on how you can, you have to keep in mind you probably won’t save no more than 10% per gallon (which is still a lot in my opinion).

When looking for gas credit card offers online, there are some questions that you should ask yourself in order to find the card that works best for you and your wallet.  With so many cards out there, it can get tiresome when you’re looking for ways to save on gas.  Ask yourself the following questions so that you can find the right card for you.

Are you loyal to a gas station?

Do you find yourself filling up at the same gas station every week?  If so, you might want to check and see if that particular gas station has it’s own credit card.   You’ll find that if you’re loyal to a station, you’ll get better rewards compared to a card where you can use it everywhere.  Just remember though that if you are loyal to a particular company, make sure that they are everywhere across the USA just in case you move or go on a trip.

What kind of rebates are you getting?

Since we are applying for a gas card, we need to know what kind of card we are applying for and more importantly, what kind of rate are we getting since that is the most important?  The industry standard for a gas card is usually around 3-5%.  If you can get anything higher than this, you’re getting a great card.  If you’re not, you’ll want to make sure you’re getting at least 3%.  Always remember to look out for the teaser rates as well when applying.

What kind of fees are there?

The most important fee that you want to look out for when applying for a gas card is the annual fee.  Most gas cards that are good aren’t going to have an annual fee.  If it does, you may want to look into a different kind of card.

With so many offers out there, look for a card that suits your needs.  Every time you fill up at the gas pump, make sure you use it so that you can get the rewards you need.

There comes that time when something happens to our vehicle, and we need a new part or parts for it.  Whether our car was just recently in an accident, certain parts have rusted, or the parts aren’t functioning well, there is always the option to buy just the certain parts that you’re looking for.  If you’re not sure where you can find your auto parts, there are several places you can check out.  If you’re interested in finding places that carry the parts you need, continue reading below to find out where you should consider.

Internet – The Internet has become huge for online shopping.  Also, it holds some of the best deals possible.  Simply type in a search engine “auto parts” or if you don’t mind used auto parts, type in “used auto parts.”  This will easily give you a ton of places you can begin looking.

Or, if you’re looking for another way on the Internet, our famous sites eBay and Amazon also may carry the parts that you’re looking for, for a fraction of the price, so check to see what they have to offer!

Junkyard – The junkyard is definitely a place to consider if you’re looking for a great deal, and the parts you’re looking for.  Junkyards usually carry several vehicles, which offers a lot of variety for parts.  Simply find the parts you need, and don’t worry if the item you’re looking for has a bad paint job, simply get it repainted.  Doing this route is still usually cheaper than buying it new.

Auto shop – It is always a good idea to check out an auto shop if you can’t find exactly what you’re looking for.  Auto shops usually have a good selection, and if they don’t have the part there that day, someone can usually order it for you.  Although, the only problem with auto shops is that they tend to be a little more expensive than on the Internet or in a junkyard.

Finding auto parts isn’t too hard to do.  As you can see, these three options above are great, and are the most popular ways of getting what you’re looking for for a great price.  Consider these ideas and find yourself getting just what you wanted!

If you’re a fan of Ford’s vehicles, or if you’ve always driven Ford’s vehicles, you may already be aware of how nice they are.  Ford has always been a nice car company, but today they are even more advanced with technology, their safety scores have improved tremendously, and they really have a lot to offer.  One thing that people are looking at now more than ever is fuel efficiency.  Fuel efficient vehicles can be hard to come by, but not with Ford’s line up.  Ford has improved on fuel efficiency by a large percentage.

If you’re looking to get a new Ford vehicle in the near future, you may be looking for something that is fuel efficient.  Consider some of these cars listed below for your next car.  They have received the name for the most fuel efficient vehicles for Ford.

Top 10 Fuel Efficient Vehicles for 2009 along with their MPG:

  1. Ford Fusion Hybrid – up to 41 MPG.
  2. Ford Focus – up to 35 MPG.
  3. Ford Fusion – up to 34 MPG.
  4. Ford Escape Hybrid – up to 34 MPG.
  5. Ford Escape – up to 28 MPG.
  6. Ford Taurus – up to 28 MPG.
  7. Ford Ranger – up to 26 MPG.
  8. Ford Mustang – up to 26 MPG.
  9. Ford Edge – up to 24 MPG.
  10. Ford Taurus X – up to 24 MPG.

As you can see, Ford’s line up is pretty incredible.  Ever since we had the awful scare of gas prices reaching to $4.25 to per gallon, we’ve dreaded going to the gas station.  Although gas prices will never be as low as we’d like, Ford went the other way around to make us happy, and provided us with vehicles that have a great gas mileage.  Not only does this mean we can drive more often without feeling guilty, but also, that means less trips to the gas station.  Which in the end means, we’re going to be saving a LOT on our gas spending.  So, if you’re interested in a fuel efficient vehicle in the near future, be sure to consider one of these top 10 listed above.
