Getting a free carIt almost sounds too good to be true when you hear “get paid to drive” or “free car”.  Well, it isn’t and did you know that there are car companies out there that are willing to give you a free car?  What is the catch you might ask?

Well, the company isn’t just going to give it to you for free for the heck of it.  They want you to drive it a lot, in a particular area and they also want to make sure that you’ll be a loyal driver.  You’ll find out that when you do your research online, there’s going to be a lot of people out there wanting your money to give you information that’s already out there for free.

When you’re ready to do research on how to get a free car, there are a handful of websites out there that you can use in order to find a company that’s willing to give you that free car.

Free Car Media - FCM allows the user to sign up for the program they want and you’ll never have to pay a cent to find the car you’re looking for.  Depending on what you choose, it looks as if you can get paid as much as $900/month.

Ad Smart -Ad Smart is very similar to Free Car Media where you can log in, create an account and find out how you can get a free car.  As of today, it looks like Ad Smart is offering either a Nissan Xterra or Volkswagen Beetle and you can get paid up to $350 a month.

Ads2Go - A new company in car advertising, Ad2Go just like the other companies are willing to provide you a car.  All they ask is that you’re a good driver, you have insurance and your car isn’t a corvette!  You can proceed to their driver application page once you land on the main website to get more information.

Try out some of the websites listed above when it comes to getting a free car and getting money each month.  There’s no better way than to drive around a moving billboard and making money every month, good luck!

Auto Wrapped - Auto Wrapped may have a cheesy looking website but it really does do the trick.  Here, you can get your car wrapped with an advertisement or you can drive on of theirs.  This company can potentially pay you up to $400/month.

Yes, you hear this one all the time when companies are willing to pay you to place their advertisement on your car.  Is it a scam?  Absolutely not!  There are plenty of legitimate companies out there that want you to either drive the car they provide you or place a simple decal on your own automobile.

Now, before you get too excited, there are usually some requirements that you have to abide by before you can get paid.  These requirements include that you live in a populated area, they want you to drive x amount of miles each week and they want to know that you’re being honest.  So, whether they place a tracker or you have to keep a log, the company wants to know that you’re not ripping them off.

Where do I find these free cars?

There are 2 websites online that I will refer to when it comes to free cars and finding them.  Both of these sites do require an upfront membership fee but it is less than $30 or so.  It’s worth it if you can find a company that will give you a free car or give you money to advertise!

TFC - This website is fairly easy to use.  You’ll select your state along with your zip code and the database will pull a bunch of companies in your surrounding area.  These are companies that are willing to either pay you a monthly fee or they are willing to give you a free car up front.

FCI - The car index is similar to the first one but this site only requires that you pay a one time fee rather than a monthly fee.  This website includes a complete database filled with companies willing to pay you to drive a car.  It’s updated daily, it’s easy to read and best of all, it will give you great inside tips on how you can get selected to get paid.

Try some of the sites above and see what works best for you when it comes to signing up to get advertising plastered all over your car.  The more you put into, the more likely you’re going to be selected to get money each month just for advertising!

What car do i want? So, you’re in the market to buy a new car but that important question probably just hit your head, “What car do I want?”  Well, if you’re not loyal to any car company, it’s probably going to be hard to pick out the car that fits your needs.  This means that you have to go to many dealerships, get annoyed salespeople and more.  Thankfully, with the Internet you’ll be able to find out what you’re looking for.  All you will have to do is show up at the dealer and ask for a test drive.

What is your price range?

The first question you want to ask yourself is what kind of money are we looking at here?  $10,000?  $20,000?  This will give you a good idea on where you can start.  Obviously, if you want to spend $15,000, you probably can’t go walking into a Jaguar dealership and expect a brand new car.  The very first thing that you need to do is know your budget and what you want to spend.

What size do you want?

If your arms are up in the air when it comes to sizes, each car has it’s own upside and downside.  Do you want a car, SUV or truck?  If you’re worried about money, you may want a car since it gets better gas mileage.  If you want room, you may want a SUV.  Get a pad of paper and write down what you want to do with your car on a weekly basis.  If you’re just taking it to work, you may want to just stick with a car and save the money.

Head to the car maker’s website

When you finally know what kind of price you want and what type of car you want, head on over to all of the major car makers like Honda, Toyota, Ford, etc.  Look at what they have to offer when it comes to what you want.  Check out the features, the style, etc.  By looking at the car, it should give you a better idea on if you will like it or not because most likely, it’s going to look the same in person.

Get reviews online

There are a ton of car buffs on the Internet when it comes to chatting about their favorite automobile.  Let’s say you find out that you’re interested in the Toyota Corolla.   Do a quick Google search on reviews and see what the experts and the average Joe like you and I think.  This will give you a great understanding on what you should expect with a car.  Remember though that there will never be a perfect review all around the board.

Finally, test drive it

Last but not least, you want to head to your local dealer and ask if you can take the car you like for a test spin.  This is your chance to ask questions about the car, look at it in person and more.  Before you sign the papers, I would recommend that you check out at least 3 dealers and if you’re willing to go used, check out the used lot as well.

By following these steps alone, it should open up your mind to a lot more than just a few cars that you can think of off the top of your head.  Do your research and let’s hope that the new car comes your way.

Many of us out there don’t have the necessary funds to buy a car and even if we do, it may drain a majority of our bank accounts.  If this sounds like you, don’t fret because you’re definitely not alone.  When it comes down to getting approved for a car loan, there are a few things you can do in order to get the loan and rate that you want.

Shop around:   One of the major mistakes that many new car buyers make is that they never shop around.  Instead, they stick with the dealer who generally has a pretty high interest rate compared to most.  I would recommend that you shop around, especially at your local credit unions.  Your local credit unions generally have some of the best rates around.

Make sure your credit score is great:  If you haven’t checked your credit score lately, I would advise that you do so.  Every year, you’re entitled to getting a free report courtesy of the government.  Since it won’t necessarily show you your score, you can always get it for an extra five dollars or so.  You’ll want to make sure that your score is at least 700 or higher to get the best rate possible.

Have a down payment:  Having a down payment is probably one of the best things that you can do.  Without one, the banks aren’t going to take you seriously, especially if your credit is bad.  Many experts will tell you that a 20% down payment is more than enough.  If you can supply this, it will increase your odds of getting a loan.  20% may sound like a fortune but if you buy a $10,000 car, you’ll only need to bring $2,000.

Get a co-signer if you need it:  If your credit score is bad, don’t worry, there are other options.  What I would recommend that you do when it comes to a bad credit score is that you find a co-signer.  If you can find someone that can help you out, this will increase your chance of getting approved.  Just make sure that the person co-signing with you has a better credit score than yourself.

There are a lot of banks and credit unions out there that are willing to loan you money.  Go out there and get 3-5 loan quotes.  Try some of the tips mentioned above and you should most likely find a rate that fits your budget.
