When it comes time to sell your car, there are a few tricks that you can use in order to sell it fast.  As long as you have it priced right and it’s marketed right as well, that car can fly off your driveway in as little as one day.  So, what are these tricks that I’m talking about?

Shine it up

No one wants to pull up and look at a car that’s dirty and smells of smoke.  If this sounds like your car right now, either head on down to the local car wash or do it yourself on a nice afternoon.  What you’ll want to do is vacuum the inside, shampoo the carpets, polish the interior, while waxing and cleaning the outside.   You want this car to look like it came off the new car lot.

Get rid of the junk

If you added bumper stickers, tacky items like hanging dice, etc to the inside of your car, remove them right away.  These are things that you think are “cool” but many buyers may find them tacky.  When it’s a buyer market in the car field, you’ll find that a buyer will quickly walk away from the silliest little things.  That’s why I always say it’s better to play it safe than risk anything.

Get a tune up

Before you let anyone come check it out, you may want to take it in and get it checked out.  Let the mechanic tell you everything that’s wrong with it.  This way, when you sell it, you won’t be surprised when the buyer gets it checked out and something is wrong.  It doesn’t hurt to get the tires rotated and oil checked either.  This will be a nice little bonus to the buyer plus it’s going to keep your car in better shape.

Try and keep all your records

If you can do this, it’s great and it’s a bonus to many but if you have your entire old car related receipts lying around, many buyers love this.  It shows them that you’re not hiding anything and you’re willing to show them what you have had done in the past, which will in turn build trust with you and the buyer, making he/she more confident to buy from you.

Of course, these are all smaller things that you can do in order to sell your car quickly but you have to sell it at the right time, price it right and make sure that you’re courteous when selling.  Add these tips to the mix and let’s hope you can sell that car fast!

When the time comes to look for a new vehicle, we all have so much in mind that we’re looking for.  Of course we want the style to fit our needs, we want enough room, we want certain features, and of course we want it to run nicely.  Although some people pay little attention to one of the most important, and money breaking things, fuel efficiency.  We all remember just a few months ago when the price of gas reached up to over $4.00 per gallon.  Whose to say it won’t happen again?  Why risk buying a vehicle that isn’t fuel efficient?  Instead of paying top dollar for a vehicle that is bad on gas, how about you pay the same amount for a vehicle that is better for the environment, and is great on gas, which can save a ton of money down the long road.

So, if you’re looking for a new vehicle, and you’re a fan of Mazda, or if you’re just interested in seeing what they have to offer, continue reading below to see what kind of fuel efficiency they have to offer.

Top 10 Fuel Efficient Mazda Vehicles:

  1. Mazda 3 4-Door – Up to 33 MPG.
  2. Mazda 6 – Up to 30 MPG.
  3. Mazda 3 5-Door – Up to 29 MPG.
  4. MX-5 Miata – Up to 28 MPG.
  5. Mazda 5 – Up to 28 MPG.
  6. Tribute – Up to 28 MPG.
  7. MAZDASPEED3 – Up to 26 MPG.
  8. B-Series Truck – Up to 26 MPG.
  9. CX-7 – Up to 23 MPG.
  10. RX-8 – Up to 23 MPG.

These past couple years, the automakers have been trying to do everything they can to help us out with better fuel economy.  When we can drive, and not feel guilty about burning gas, that is a good feeling.  We shouldn’t have to worry about the gas prices, and bad fuel economy when there are vehicles out there that get great gas mileage.  So, if you’re looking for a vehicle that is great on gas, be sure to consider Mazda for your next purchase!

gfx_atc-tagWhen we’re looking to buy a new vehicle, we’re looking for the best deals we can get.  This means we do our research, go from dealership to dealership, to checking out used cars.  Although, one place people forget to checkout is the Internet.  The Internet is great for looking, and finding out information on everything, and anything.  So, if you’re looking to buy a new car in the near future, be sure to consider the Internet when buying.  Helpful websites like the ones listed below, can help you get the deals you want!

eBay – As we all know it, eBay is the way to go if you’re trying to sell something or buy something.  eBay has everything we’re looking for, not to mention has auctions, and great deals!

When buying a new car, not only do we want a good deal, but we also want to make sure the vehicle we’re buying is worth all the money we’re going to pay and put into it.  Also, buying a car is one of the most expensive things we buy in our lifetime, so of course we want to make sure it’s exactly what we want.  If you’re planning on buying a new car in the near future, you may want to look over, and consider a few things before you sign any papers.

Interior/Exterior – How is the interior and exterior overall?  It may not be perfect, but if there are any major/minor scratches, dings, scraps, or anything you’re not happy with, don’t be afraid to try and negotiate the price.

Run – Once you take a good look at the outside, and inside, you’ll want to take it for a test drive.  How does it run?  Does it have good pick up, nice handling, do all the gears work well?  Don’t be afraid to run it awhile, if you’re going to buy it, you want to make sure it works the way you want it to.

Sounds – When driving the car, are there any funny sounds coming from it?  Anything squeaking, rattling, etc?  If so, you may have a problem, so turn off the radio and listen while you’re driving.

Works – Does everything work in the car?  Does it run well, does the radio, CD player, the power locks, GPS, and any other feature work well?  Make sure you open everything, play everything, and use everything to make sure you won’t have any surprises.

Underneath – How does the car look underneath?  Does it look really rusted or like it’s falling apart?  If so, you may want to avoid this vehicle.  When things start to really rust, and fall apart, that’s when the problems start to happen.  So, make sure the underneath is in decent shape, yet don’t be too picky or harsh.

Warranty – If the vehicle is newer, be sure to ask if the vehicle is under warranty.  This is something great to have, and is definitely a perk.

As you can see, looking over the car entirely is very important.  Make sure everything runs well, works well, it’s in good shape, and it’s worth the price you’re going to pay for it.  Always ask for a little less than what they’re offering, it never hurts, and hey maybe it’ll save you some extra money!

Over the years, cars seem to keep getting better and better.  Not only are the styles nicer, and the fuel efficiency is better, but the features in these vehicles are pretty impressive.  If you haven’t looked at a newer vehicle lately, you’d be surprised with what they’ve come out with.  Some of these vehicles are pretty top of the line, and have some awesome features that you should consider when buying your next vehicle.  Interested in findng out what these features are?  Then continue reading below to find out what they are!

Bluetooth – How about talking on your phone in your car hands free!  Don’t make driving and talking on your phone more dangerous by constantly holding the phone up to your ear.  Instead, talk while driving with two hands on the wheel!

GPS Navigation system – Not good with directions?  Well how about you have someone tell you where to go whenever you need them.  GPS’s are great because some can tell you where the nearest places you’re looking for are, who has the cheapest gas prices around you, and it can tell you which areas to avoid due to heavy traffic.

SIRIUS Satellite radio – Tired of listening to all the commercials on the radio when driving?  If so, you should definitely consider SIRIUS/XM radio.  This radio has over a 100 different channels without commercials, to make sure there is something you’ll love.

Homelink – A very convenient integrated button that controls your garage door at home.  It is programmed in your vehicle so that only you can open your garage door.

Parking system – A lot of people get into an accident by hitting a vehicle when trying to park.  Although, that will be very hard to do with the new parking technology the auto makers have come out with.  How about having sensors on all the sides of your vehicle to make sure you don’t come too close to something you shouldn’t.

The technology these days is advancing more than we know it.  It seems like every day there is something new that hits the market.  As for cars, the technology is great to have, and can be very helpful when we need it most.  So, if you’re looking for a new vehicle, and you’re going to treat yourself to something good, be sure that your vehicle has these 5 new features!
