Top car subwoofersA sub woofer is a great item to add to your car.  Whether you’re looking to add 2 of them, or maybe just one, it’s a great way to enhance your music experience.  For as little as $75, you can pick up a high end speaker that’s going to blow you away, when it comes down to producing bass.

I did a little research online, and this is what I found to be the best sub woofers on the market.  Installation can be a breeze, and if you’re ever having troubles, you can refer to these sub woofer YouTube videos.

  • Dual BP1204 12-inch 1100-Watt: These dual chambered enclosures include two 12 inch subwoofers.  The cool, and unique thing about these is that it has a blue illumination with plexiglass windows for a creative experience.  It also comes equipped with bracing, and carpet covering, and a one year warranty.
  • Infinity Basslink 200-Watt: This 200 Watt system is extremely powerful, and has fantastic reviews online.  For less than $200, you’re going to get an onboard 200-Watt Class D amplifier, as well as a 10 inch subwoofer, and passive radiator making it a great all around package.
  • Kenwood KFC-W3011: If you’re looking for a highly rated subwoofer for a lower price, you may want to look into this particular Kenwood model.  It has a high-roll rubber surround sound, as well as kicks out 400 watts.
  • Kicker CompVR: If you’re on a budget, and you don’t want to spend more than $100, you may want to look into this brand.  You’re going to find out that it has a great round of reviews, and it’s probably what you’re looking for.  400 Watts, and has a 25-500Hz frequency response, as well as a 1 year warranty.

There are a lot of subwoofers on the market, and if you’re looking for one, be sure to check out these top 4.  Some are enclosures, while other simply are the sub itself.

So, you want to find damaged repairable cars online, but you may not know how?  There are plenty of them out there, and technically, any damaged car is “repairable”, but I can understand from your prospective that you want to make a profit on the car, before you pull the trigger, and purchase it.

Here’s how you can find damaged repairable cars for yourself…

  • eBay: eBay has a great motors section, and it’s available for both new, used, and cars that don’t work.  If you’re solely looking for a car that you want to repair, try typing in keywords such as “doesn’t run”, “damage”, etc.   This will limit you to the cars that aren’t going to work for you.  You can also filter out your results on the left hand side as well.
  • Craigslist: Just like eBay, you can find cars on this free classified site as well.  The reason that people like this site so much is because they are able to post listings for free.  This is great for you, because there’s going to be more of a selection.  Just make sure that you’re dealing with a legit seller, and never EVER send money over the Internet, until you meet the ad creator in person.
  • Government Auctions: Government auctions are filled with great listings, and when I look at them, the fair majority of them are damaged.  Many of them run, but are going to need some cosmetic repairs.  What I find is that many people are just simply turned off by cars that need work.

These are by far the top 3 way steps that you can take when you’re looking to find good damaged cars that you can fix.  Whether you want to turn a profit, or maybe you want it for yourself.  Try these 3 steps out, and see if you can find a car for yourself.

In this week’s mailbag, I received a frantic e-mail from a young female reader that asked the following.

I’m writing today because I found out this morning that I went to start my car, but it won’t start.  Instead, it’s just making a clicking noise!  What am I supposed to do?

First off, don’t worry.  This happens to just about everyone that has owned a car in their lifetime.  Every result is going to vary, but there are a few things that you can do right now in order to get your car up, and running.

Jump start your car: The car most likely has a battery with no charge.  Did you leave your lights on?  Did you have a very cold night before?  If you think this may be the problem, find a car that’s running, and grab some jumper cables.  You will want to jump start the car.  Allow the car to run for a few minutes, and see if the car starts up.

Look into your starter: If jumped your car, and it’s still not working, you may want to look into your starter.  These are relatively easy / hard to install depending on your make, and model.  If you don’t know how to install one, I would highly recommend that you head down to an auto repair shop.

These 2 problems are generally 95% of the problems that you’re going to encounter when your car won’t start, and it’s making a clicking noise.  I would highly recommend that you take it into a repair shop, if you can’t get it to start.   Most repair shops will come, diagnosis it right at your home, and you can go from there.

Top Remote StartersWhether you’ve lived in a cold climate in the past, or maybe you live in one now, we all know how awful it is to go out to a car that’s cold.  There’s no other feeling that makes your bones feel like they are about to break off.  Thankfully for technology, there are some great automatic car starters out there that you can highly consider.

What is an automatic car starter?

It’s a wonderful device that you can get installed in your car either professionally, or you can do it yourself.  You will then get a smaller remote that you can attach to your keys.  As long as you’re within range, you can hit the button, and your car will automatically start up.

Below are a few of the best rated car starters that you can consider online, when you’re thinking about purchasing one.

  • Bulldog RS1100 Remote Starter: This easy to install remote starter comes with a DVD instruction video, include a 4 button remote transmitter, and comes with a range of up to 300 feet.  The thing that I like most about this one is that many don’t even supply you with detailed instructions.  While this one does, you may find it a lot easier to install, rather than hire it out.
  • Prestige Model APS920: This one has one of the coolest key chains.  This 5 button LCD remote has an in-vehicle temperature monitor, as well as shows the status of your vehicle.  This is amazing, when you’re looking to figure out how warm your car is.
  • Car Alarm Remote Start Ht800d: This highly rated remote car starter comes with a car alarm, remote engine starter, as well as key less entry all built into one.  With it’s advanced technology, you’ll hear an alarm every time someone try to open any type of door when the alarm is set.   With this one, you’re going to get more than just a remote start.
  • Car Alarm Remote Start Cx2300a: Another highly rated remote starter that has a very high range of up to 9,000 feet.  It indicates the temperature in the car, as well as has many other options that you can consider.

These are the highest rated car starters that I recommend online.  Check them out for yourself, and see which one will most likely fit your needs.

Applying for a bad credit auto loanHaving bad credit stinks, I know, but what happens if you have really lousy credit, and you have no down payments to supply?  What is it that you can do in order to get a car loan?  I know it can be tough, but I first want to tell you that you want to keep your head up high, so that you can that loan that you need.

Do you need the car?

The first thing that you want to ask yourself is if you truly need this car.  Do you really need this loan in order to get around?  Why I’m saying this is because you may find that you can borrow one from a family member, or maybe use the one you have if it’s working okay.  It never hurts to ask, because you can always use the car for a few months until you gather up some money, as well as build your credit score.

Apply at a dealership

Don’t be intimidated at a dealership.  You can head on in there, tell them your situation, and they will try to work somethings out for you.  What you will want to do is be honest, and see what they can get for you.  You will most likely have to fill out an application.  The only downfall to all of this is that you’re going to find out that your interest rate is going to be rather high.  Regardless, this can come down over time, as you work on your scores.

Test the waters

Again, people are so intimidated to try banks, and other financial services.  Try services like myAutoLoan that will do the dirty work for you.  It’s 100% free, and they will try to work something out for you.  Whether you need a used, or a new car, they will try their best to find something that’s best for you!

Go out there, apply for some loans, and see what works best for you.  What you’re going to find out is that there are a lot of people that are willing to work for you, because it’s going to be a win-win for both parties, I promise!
