1. Throwing fists
This long-established game from China can be played by 2 participants or more. It’s enjoyable and it cultivates fast reasoning and common sense. After 3 counts, everyone chuck their fist out upfront with any number of fingers from 0 to 5 flashed. At one fell swoop, one player gets a turn to shout out a number. If the fingers shown add up to that number, that particular player wins. If 2 kids happen to be playing the game, the numbers can range from 0 to 10; if 3 there are 3 players, the numbers can be between 0 and 15, and so on.
2. I went on holiday
One of the players can be the first one to think of a city, country or continent beginning with the letter A and then says, “I went on a vacation in Australia” for instance. The second player restates the sentence and connects a place that starts with B, like “I went on a vacation in Australia and Brazil.” The subsequent player adds someplace with C as the beginning: “I went on a vacation in Australia, Brazil and China.” The game goes on until one of the players is not able give an appropriate answer for the last letter or makes an error or forgets what were on the list. Continue until all but one player are disqualified, or until you have used up all the alphabets.
3. Rest stop races
Find a grassy sweep of land at the stopover, and conduct running races back and forth. This will allow you all to let loose of cramped liveliness and keep the children from aiming on choking one another.
4. Karaoke
Burn into a CD hundreds of songs that are your family’s favorites. As per psychologists, singing aloud the tunes much loved by the entire gang discharge bad vibes. Make certain you play music that will not urge everyone want to swoop out of the car window.
5. Books and magazines
These two may not necessarily be games as such, yet books are an effective tool for keeping your mind active. If you are prone to get car-sick in the course of the trip, opt for a book on tape the entire family can like.
