The major auto manufacturers are expecting a bail out from the federal government in order to maintain the business. Many are very assured that with the new bailout package the assistance will be favorable enough to help them in this time of economic crisis. One of the major aspects of the business is the new hybrids that the major auto manufacturers have been putting on the market. The government has hopes that the gasoline crisis will be ended. There are many aspects in the invention of the newer hybrids that many people are expected to buy. The newer hybrids need more parts and better materials in order to be put on the market. Many times the auto parts suppliers run into as much financial problems as the major auto manufacturers.

The auto parts suppliers are indeed in need of financial help in order to stay in business. All the parts that are put into vehicles cost money to produce no matter if they are made at the major corporations or brought in by smaller factories that make the parts. The Motor and Equipment companies have declared that they are in great financial difficulty and for months have requested some financial relief.  There are other major suppliers that are finding financial difficulty in maintaining operations. Many of these smaller manufacturers will fold within a year without some sort of financial aid. It is very unfortunate because all across the nation many people will be losing their jobs causing an already ailing economy to worsen. The smaller auto supply suppliers are hoping that while the Congress is drafting a bailout for the major auto manufacturers that they will be included. It is not likely that the big companies will help them in any manner. In fact that is why some of the smaller companies are having so many problems.

The major corporations have for a long time bought the parts made by the smaller suppliers on credit and not paid the bill. The major companies simply do not have enough money to pay for the parts that they ordered and used in the vehicles. This puts a great hardship on the smaller parts supplier. The fact that the major corporations are getting bailout money still does not help the smaller auto parts suppliers because the intention of the bailout money is to help the larger auto manufacturers to go forward not pay past bills.
