The Summer is fast approaching and if you’re lucky enough to live in a warmer climate all year around, you’re going to find that you may want to get a convertible.  I don’t blame you if you want to make a decision such as this one.

Now, I don’t care where you live, you can always take advantage of a convertible some point during the year.  Before you set out to make your purchase, there are a few things that you should research before signing the dotted line.

• Safety: Many convertibles aren’t really that safe because of the top.  Even if the top is up, roll over accidents are a big concern here.  Make sure that you look into some of the safety ratings regarding these cars.
• The price tag: Convertibles don’t come cheap.  If you plan on purchasing one new, you’re going to be spending $20,000+  This is why its important that you do some of your homework.
• Space: Let’s face it.  Convertibles don’t really have that much space.  The question that you’re going to want to ask yourself if how much space the convertible has when the top is down, or  up.
• How does it look with the top down? All convertibles work in a different way when it comes down to the top.  Some have hard bar supports, while others are a pure soft top.  You will want to look into this because you may find out that the quality just not may be there.

Now, with all of that being said, I wanted to provide you with the top 6 convertibles that you should heavily consider.

#1 Mazda MX-5: A very sporty 2 seater.  Great handling, audio system, and style.

#2 Audi A5 Cabriolet: Quick turbocharged engine, a lower class compared to the Mercedes Benz, but you will never know the difference with this style.

#3 Mercedes Benz E350: If you want a higher class based car, this V6, precision tuned convertible may be for you.

#4 Chevrolet Corvette: How can we not put this one on the list?  This two-seat based convertible is powered b a 430 HP V8 engine.

#5 Ford Mustang Convertible: This is one of the few 4 seaters that not only supply comfort, but making this one a pure favorite of many car buyers.

#6 Toyota Camry Solara: The last one on my list is an attractive one for the Toyota series, but the performance may be a turn off for some.
