Ford Motors is bound to prove that with the right type of technology they can build vehicles that are designed to be repaired at a lower cost. The goal of Ford Motors is too develop an affordable, innovative vehicle that replacement parts and repair procedures will lower the cost to fix the damaged vehicle. The idea behind this new movement is if your vehicle costs less to fix then it will cost you less to insure.  The new Paint and Body Technology Center developed by Ford Motors believes that they can help cut down on the cost of insurance premiums for consumers by doing this the cost of the vehicle needs to be kept well under control as well. Insurance companies have collaborated with the new technology with the belief that cutting down the cost of repairs will also cut down on the expenses paid out to fix damaged vehicles. The premiums might be high but the repair bills are even higher. The insurance companies realize this and prefer less in premium if it means that their costs in repairs will be much less.  This makes a lot of sense and it shows that the modern technology can not only save us in repair expenses but it can save in lives as well.

Ford Motors and the Insurance Companies knowing that the new technology will be a great savings to the consumer only if the properly trained repair technicians are made available the facility is also being used for that training. Ford Motors thinks of everything when it comes to their new inventions for their vehicles.  Ford Motors is combining the knowledge of the Paint and Body Technology Center with the existing Safety and Crash Test Analysis building in order to create designs that better suit the vehicles capabilities for better safety. This may seem incredible that only now these things are being taken into consideration but in the past if the vehicle passed the safety inspections then they were deemed suitable for the consumer.  New materials are being used to create front and rear frame sections for the F-150 vehicles in order to help with the durability of the vehicle. This new material will prevent some of the dents that occur on a normal daily basis which in turn will help insurance companies when it comes to repair bills. This project turned out to be so successful that is why the new facility was opened. Now perhaps the consumer will be able to see the difference in the structure of their newest vehicles.
