General Motors introduced the Saturn Vue 2 in 2006 when Saturn began production. This beautiful little vehicle was a hit in the Detroit Auto Show and sparked the onset of three other hybrids. Today society is eco minded and all around the world people are looking for vehicles that control emissions and consumption. The Saturn Vue 2 offers people a powerful mode of transportation that runs on electricity, which saves on the pocket at the pumps and saves on the eco system, which is to the advantage of everyone. The Saturn Vue 2 is a beautiful sedan packed with many features that make it desirable on the open market for the business executive and the family.  People need an economical vehicle that they can use as transportation to work but one that is comfortable to use for shopping and doing errands.

The Saturn Vue 2 makes a great vehicle for the average soccer mom who runs errands, shops, and transports the children to game practice. The average mom puts more mileage on a vehicle during the year than the father does taking it to work and back home. The reason being that mom is the one who buys the groceries, takes the kids to doctor appointments, drops off the dry cleaning, attends the meetings and gatherings at school and church and runs whatever else errands that need be attended. She is the one, who takes the family to the movies, swimming, and practice meets, and brings things to the office for dad when he forgets to take them along. You can see it is essential that mom has a vehicle that is easy to maintain, cheap on fuel and has a stylish looking body.  The Saturn Vue 2 fits the profile for all the things mom needs in a vehicle and it is not that expensive to buy. The automakers are positive that by the year 2012 the market place will be flooded with the Saturn Vue 2 and some of the other related vehicles that are off shoots.

The Saturn Vue 2 proven to be an economical vehicle that is easy to maintain and not expensive to purchase is quickly becoming the type of vehicle that is used for transportation to go to work. The normal working class of people like the Saturn Vue 2 because it is fuel efficient, easy to park, spacious on the inside and the cost of maintain is reasonable. The average working person finds that they spend much time traveling to work and back home so they want a vehicle that has features to make them comfortable. The Saturn Vue 2 has very comfortable seating arrangements, and the accessories are all energy-efficient. The chassis is specially tuned for a smooth ride with a direct injection the V-6 boosts efficiency when you are stopping and starting your vehicle. All these features add to the luxury of your hybrid making it even more appealing to the consumer auto market.

I’m sure that the Saturn Vue has gotten a lot of attention; it is altogether a very good car. According to many, including myself, it is a very good looking car. They have gotten a lot of good reviews, and have pretty good gas mileage. You see quite a lot of them out prowling the streets during the day, and maybe you’ve decided that you want one too, as you think that it is a very nice car. Here are some tips about buying a 2007 Saturn Vue, things that should be done when buying this car, and some things to be careful of when buying this car.

First of all, decide if you want to buy it new or used. Due to the fact that this is a newer model, there won’t be as many used cars. You’ll also want to decide exactly what Vue you want to buy, what color, what features, and all that. Once you’ve decided exactly what you want, go out there and try to find the best price for it.

Make sure you’re getting exactly what you want; you never want to compromise too much when buying a car. Whether you’re buying a new or used car, always be careful that you don’t get ripped off, as in the care sales world this happens quite a bit. Love the car before you buy it, be certain that it is what you really want. Also, beware of the Saturn dealerships; they can be a bit ridiculous there. When buying a Vue for my family, they spent nine hours fiddling around and just generally not helping us. It took quite a while before we actually got our car.

In addition, the Vue has a green line of hybrids. They cost a few thousand dollars more, but if the environment is something that you truly care about, they may be an option. They are apparently just as nice as the regular Vue, if not more so. They could be a great car for you, and they may even be worth it considering the price of gas.

These are some tips for choosing and buying a 2007 Saturn Vue. This is truly a very nice car, and hopefully you will consider it. Hopefully, these tips were helpful, and will help on your journey of buying a new car. Just remember these tips, and hopefully you will get through this smoothly.

Fuel economy is on everyone’s mind these days.  It gets harder and harder to put that credit card into the gas pump because we know it’s going to cost a fortune, and we’ll have to pull out the credit card again in another week or less.  If you are in the market for a new car, you may be interested in knowing which cars rated at the top of the US Department of Energy’s list as the most fuel efficient cars in America.

Best Fuel Economy - Overall

Put your credit card away for another week or two because with 60mpg city / 66 mpg hwy, the Honda Insight Hybrid is the most fuel efficient car in America.  The Insight achieves the surprisingly high miles per gallon not only because it runs partly on batteries, but because it has done things like reducing the drag (how hard a car has to work to cut through wind when it is driving), and putting low resistance tires on the car as a standard feature.  It’s not a family car by any means and it will certainly draw some attention.  Take a look at one on the internet to see why.

Best Fuel Economy - Mid-size

So you took a look at the Insight and decided you are better off using the credit card weekly than strapping your child to the roof anytime you want to go somewhere.  Don’t give up yet.  The Toyota Prius Hybrid gets a whopping 60 / 51 mpg and will fit a child, two parents, a guest and a dog inside.  The Prius is a very popular hybrid car because of the fuel efficiency as well as the fact that the Prius is comfortable and handles quite well.

Best Fuel Economy – Large Car

At 24 / 34 mpg, the Hyundai Sonata sneaks in as the large car with the best fuel economy in America.  The Sonata is large and roomy, and offers a very comfortable ride.  One owner of a Sonata Luxury Edition says that her family, including her husband who owns a Honda Civic, would prefer to ride in the comfort of the Sonata to the more fuel efficient Civic for any trip that will take more than a half an hour.  This owner was apparently oblivious to the fact that she was getting the best fuel economy in America for a car of that size.

Other winning fuel efficient cars of note are the Honda Civic Hybrid (49 / 51 mpg) as the best fuel economy – compact car, the Volkswagon New Beetle Diesel (37 / 44 mpg) in the subcompact car category, and the Toyota Matrix/Pontiac Vibe (30 / 36 mpg), both are basically the same car, in the station wagon category.

Are you ready to put your credit card away now and go shopping for a new fuel efficient car?  When you are, be sure to test drive all of the cars on this list and make a smart, green, eco-friendly, and most of all, wallet friendly choice.

If you are getting sick and tired of charging up your credit card bill to put gas in your car, you may want to consider a hybrid for your next vehicle purchase.  Hybrid automobiles are now available in just about any type of vehicle you want.  You can get small, efficient hybrid cars, hybrid mini-vans, hybrid SUV’s, and now you can even get hybrid pick-up trucks.

Put your credit card away for a while because with a hybrid vehicle you won’t need to put gasoline in your car nearly as often.  This is especially true if you do most of your driving in the city.  Most hybrid cars run on the batteries up to 30-35 miles per hour, so you don’t use your gas at all at city speeds.  In fact, many hybrid owners report that they only have to take out their credit card at the gas pump less than 1/3 as often as they used to with their gas guzzling non-hybrid vehicles.

Hybrid vehicles are not only money savers, they are also environment savers.  The CO2 that emits from a gasoline powered car is one of the largest alleged culprits of our current state of global warming.  If everybody were forced to drive a hybrid car, we could quite possibly get our planet back as we once knew it, with fresh air and normal weather patterns and without worrying that our coastal cities will be under water in a matter of years.

Many people who have vaguely considered purchasing a hybrid vehicle have neglected to do so because they have heard stories that hybrid power doesn’t offer the performance as a gasoline powered car.  And that was true only a few years ago.  However, with technology ever increasing in the automotive industry, and virtually all of the automotive manufacturers in competition to build the best hybrids now, the performance standards have followed.  Hybrids can now perform just as well as any other car on the road under normal conditions.

Hybrids are now selling at affordable prices, too.  No longer will you have to spend as much on one hybrid car as you would have on two gasoline cars.  The reasons for this are competition, supply and demand, and because there is even newer, cleaner, more efficient green automotive technology in the works.  Think hydrogen!  If you must use your credit card, use it to put a down payment on your next hybrid vehicle.

The state of the global environment, in general, and the American environment, in particular has become such a concern that we have finally begun to clamor for change. It is our love of the personal automobile as our main means of transportation that can be documented as having done the greatest damage to our natural settings. Moreover, the main resource currently used to power our cars - gas and oil – is a resource that cannot be replenished when depleted.

United States automobile manufacturers have belatedly become aware they are creating an antiquated product and are working quickly to provide the American consumers with a variety of hybrid cars that use alternative fuel sources. Foreign competitors, such as Honda, Saab and others, are way ahead of American car companies, and currently offer a wide variety of automobiles that are powered by alternative fuel sources such as electricity. Their greatest success to date, the Toyota Prius, is poised to leave the big 3 automakers behind them in overall sales.

We Americans want to be a part of this new ‘environmentally sensitive’ population. We want to be tree-huggers and will do whatever we comfortably can to participate in the green revolution. This includes our desire, even our growing need to purchase and become the rightful owners of these newest kinds of cars – the hybrid automobile. Except, when the average consumer begins to research the cost for these resource-conservative cars they often find them to be too prohibitive.

Most people are unaware that the average foreign hybrid automobile runs in the high $30,000 dollar range. These cars have been found to save the consumer merely hundreds of dollars in gasoline costs annually. However, these same fuel savings are often eaten up by finance charges incorporated into the credit extended to the auto buyer. Most Americans anxious to be considered environmentally friendly often ignore overlook this simple fact.

The foreign counterparts, our American car companies, in their eagerness to claim their portion of this growing market, are graciously willing to alter the engine of one of their current gas-guzzling models for the consumer for a mere five or six thousand dollars. Again, consider the cost of financing this credit over the life of the loan and it quickly becomes obvious that instead of jumping into the green revolution with both feet, perhaps we would be better served to use our feet for transportation!
