Free Car History – Getting Yours
posted by FindGasCards.comWhat you’re going to find online when you’re looking for anything “free” is that you’re going to run into a lot of scams. While many people are looking to make a quick buck, it’s you that’s going to be truly falling victim of a quick scam.
When you go out and purchase an used car, you’re going to want to look into the history before you actually hand over your cash. The last thing that you want to is purchase and find out that it’s been into an accident in the past, or maybe it had flood damage.
While I recommend that you head out and purchase an AutoCheck report for a full anaylsis, the free job can get the report done, but what you’re going to find is that you’re only going to be limited to a few things.
Here’s how you can get your free car history report…
#1 Go to this link — Once you do, you’re going to be presented with a form. You’re going to want to have the VIN ready, as well as agree to the terms of use. Enter the CAPTCHA and you’ll be able to go to the next page.
#2 The offer page – On this page, you’re going to see a few upsells, but don’t worry about it. If you want to purchase the reports, you can. What I would do is just scroll down, and read about what they have to say about the car. You can read into if there are reports filed, if there are claims, etc.
If you’re finding that you can’t get that much information, you may be out of luck with the service. I have found it’s a hit, or miss, but you can get information. It doesn’t hurt to check this database, and if you’re having problems with it, you can always Google it as well to see what comes up.
