When we buy a new car or lease one we are taking on a huge responsibility.  Cars are right behind houses when it comes to cost.  Cars require a lot of maintenance, care and careful driving to last a long time.  From everything including car insurance, monthly car payments, tune ups, gas and oil changes we are spending a lot of money.  Therefore, it is nice to get a break whenever we can.  Oil changes aren’t always cheap these days so if you’re looking for ways to save money by using coupons, here are a few ways you can come across them!

Paper:  Do you get the weekly newspaper?  If not, you may be missing out on some great coupons.  Newspapers are usually great because they supply you with some coupons for places in your area.  You may find everything from restaurants in your area to oil change coupons.  Be sure to look through weekly and see if they have any advertisements for local auto shops.

Websites:  Look up some places where you can get an oil change in your area.  Once you have the name of a few places go on their main website.  Simply type in their name and browse through their site to see if they offer any discounts.

Promotions:  Sometimes you will find that shops will have promotions.  For example, get 5 oil changes here and get the 6th one free.  Ask your shop if they ever do anything like this or if there is any way you can save so you can continue coming to them.

Ebay:  If you have a lot of well known automotive shops in your area like Mobil or Pennzoil, you may be able to find coupons on ebay for them.  Ebay has coupons up for auction all the time and you just may be lucky to get one of the coupons and save a ton of money!

Whenever we get the chance to save money it is important to take it.  It feels good, allows us to get more for our money and save a lot more money.  Consider a few of these tips and never pay full price for an oil change again!
