We’ve all been struggling with the high gas prices over the years.  Car companies are doing whatever they can to help us out and to boost their sales of vehicles.  We’ve all said it, “Why don’t they just make a car that doesn’t run on gas?”  Well finally that has been done and will be a major hit in the future.  Since 1999 Honda has been planning their future vehicle that will benefit in many ways.

Honda presents the new FCX Clarity.  The Clarity is a vehicle designed to use hydrogen fuel cell technology instead of gasoline.  Below is a list of advantages toward the new Clarity:

• Vehicles that use hydrogen with fuel cell technology instead of gasoline are the cleanest vehicles possible.  The car emits only water vapor into the air that we breathe.  Think of all the gas that goes into the air when we drive our vehicles.  This one simply does not pollute!
• The FCX Clarity is about twice as efficient as a hybrid-electric vehicle and three times more efficient than conventional gasoline vehicles.
• A very safe vehicle.  The Clarity was designed also for the safety of drivers with 6 different air bags in the car.
• The Collision Mitigation Braking System installed.  It can help detect certain potential collisions, through the use of visual and audio alerts.  There is also an automatic tug on the seat belt warning the driver to take action.
• The Clarity is capable of driving 280 miles before refueling.
• The Clarity is an average of 397 pounds lighter than most vehicles. 
• It does not need to be recharged.  No need to worry about letting it sit to charge it’s ready to go when you are!

The new Honda CFV Clarity is an amazing invention.  With all the benefits it has it’s hard to consider any other car.  Compare the average gas mileage of around 20 mpg to 280!  Honda can’t get any better than this!
