The high gas prices make it very difficult to save money, and afford the little things that we used to. As we all know it, the economy is at one of its ultimate lows, while the oil companies are making billions of dollars. One of the things that can save you a ton of money is by choosing a good vehicle to drive. Americans are doing everything they can do to save a penny, one of those ways is by driving a fuel efficient vehicle. If you want to make sure you’re driving one of the best vehicles and not one of the worst, continue to read below.
Top 3 Trucks with the Worst Gas Mileage:
The 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 has one of the absolute worst gas mileages out of any vehicle on the market. This heavy duty truck only get an average of 13 MPG city and 17 MPG on the highway. You sure wouldn’t want to drive this truck if you didn’t have to!
Dodge has done it again, another truck with an awful gas mileage. If you’ve never seen the Dodge Dakota, it is a smaller truck that is similar to the style of the Dodge Ram. This Dakota only gets an average gas mileage of 14 MPG city and 19 MPG on the highway.
Also, there is another vehicle that is guilty for giving its customers awful gas mileage, the Ford F-150. This truck isn’t doing much better to help the people with their gas mileage either. It has an average of only 13 MPG city and 18 MPG highway.
If you’re really looking to start saving money, be sure you get a fuel efficient vehicle. If you have a lease that is ending soon and you’re looking for a new vehicle or if you need a new vehicle in general, get one that has a good gas mileage. Vehicles are expensive enough and we don’t want to give anymore money to the billionaire oil companies if we don’t have to!
