Are you a car junkie or you simply like to read about cars online?   Well, instead of going out and purchasing a $5 magazine, you should simply sit in front of your computer and browse the best car news websites on the web.  From magazine based websites to your average Joe running a website, I cover it all here.  I did a little scouring on the web and here’s what I came up with for my top five:

Leftlane- Leftlane is a wonderful website that is updated multiple times throughout the day.  Get anything from car reviews to their opinions on things going on in the car industry.  Any car manufacture you can think of, Leftlane covers it.  I’ve been a reader of this website for quite some time now and sometimes I can’t belive what I get for not paying a single penny.

AutoWeek- From the popular magazine AutoWeek, you can get just as much information on their website as you can in their magazine.  AutoWeek.com features a lot of newer car reviews, auto show coverage from around the globe, and the news in the industry.  I like AutoWeek becuase of the car reviews alone.  There are very few magazines on the market that can do what AutoWeek does when it comes to the reviews.

CarandDriver- CarandDriver.com is an okay website compared to the top three.  You’re not going to get a lot on the website.  It seems as if their website’s mindset is to get your to subscribe butfor what they offer on the site, it really isn’t that bad considering it’s free.  On CarandDriver, you’re going to get everything videos to buying guides.  It’s a good news website if you’re looking to pass the time.

TopSpeed- The thing I like about TopSpeed.com is that they steer away from the “corporate” mentality.  Instead, you get the views of the blogger and not some company funded post.  Here, you’re going to get a little different taste in selection.  From getting wallpapers for your computer to fun car games, they offer a lot.  You can spend hours here alone if you’re a first time visitor.

AutoBlog- AutoBlog is yet another blog that I really enjoy to read.  Their blog is constantly updated with new cars on the markets, new in the industry.  Here, you’ll be able to interact with other bloggers that share the same interests, that’s the main thing I like about blogs.  If you like car tips and anything else car related, AutoBlog is well worth a look.

Well, there you have it.  These are the top five website I absolutely love to view when I’m bored and I”m looking to read about the car industry.  These websites alone can keep you entertained for hours!  Make sure you have plenty of time to read when you visit these sites!
