The Winter sticks, and if you’re looking for some De-icers that will prevent the ice from building up, there are a lot of great products out there that you can use, in order to keep your windshield clean at all times.

• Rain-X De-Icer: Unique design that allows you to use it as if you were using an ice scraper.  It’s fast, and very easy to use.  Apply this before Winter storms, and you can prevent build up.  When it comes to glass care , Rain-X is number 1!
• HEET LT14: A cheaper alternative, but has very good reviews online.  This $5 can quickly melts ice frost, and snow.  It won’t smear your window, and the content inside the bottle will not freeze.
• Bell Automotive De-Icer: The Winter months can do a lot of harm to your car, and if you find that your locks are freezing up, you will want to keep this little $2 tube laying around.  It’s a pressurize aerosol lock de-icer that will quickly release froze automotive locks.
• Gold Eagle LT14 De-Icer: The Gold Eagle brand had one of the best reviews from users on Amazon.  This Gold Eagle brand guarantee that it can spray at sub-zero temperatures, and will not smear on your windshield, nor will it hard your auto finish.
• Leeds 3350-13SL: This is one of the coolest inventions that I’ve seen, in terms of car care.  It’s a simple little De-icer that you can carry around on your key chain.  If you find your locks frozen, it’s a great way to de-ice them.

De-icers should be kept in every car.  They are cheap, and it’s a lot easier to use the spray, rather than scrape away in the cold.  You don’t wand to find yourself stranded, when you come back to your locks, and they are frozen.  Consider some of the De-icers above, and see if they work for you!
