posted by FindGasCards.comI’m looking at the calendar right now and I’ve been meaning to write this post for a while. I can’t believe that the year is almost half over! Where the heck does the years go? Anyways, now that I’m back on track, I wanted to showcase the top 10 cars this year that are going to give you the highest in terms of MPGs.
Toyota Prius Hybrid – 48 City / 51 Highway

Honda Civic Hybrid - 46 City / 51 Highway
MSRP: $23,000 base
If you’re going to do a lot of driving, the Civic may be a good choice. The base price has come down over the past few years and averages anywhere from 46 to 51 MPG.
Ford Fusion Hybrid - 36 City / 41 Highway
MSRP: $28,000 – $32,500
After winning all sorts of awards, Ford has finally produced a car that’s going to be able to compete with those of Toyota and Honda. This is one of the best American made cars in terms of MPG.
Audi A3 - 30 City / 42 Highway
MSRP: $28,900 – $31,000
When it comes to this particular Audi model, there’s not much to say about it in terms of the environment. It seems as if many of the car enthusiasts are into specs more than anything.
Honda Insight - 40 City / 43 Highway
MSRP: $19,900 base
As one of the most affordable hybrids on the market, if you’re looking to save on gas and money, you will want to highly consider this model. While the MPG is slightly lower than the Civic, you may not see a substantial difference.
Smart fortwo - 41 Highway
MSRP: $12,000 base
One of the smallest cars on the road, the Smart fortwo is not only fuel efficient, it’s also the only conventionally powered gasoline car on this efficiency list.
VW Golf - 30 City / 41 Highway
MSRP: $18,500 – $19,200
VW is now starting to show up on the list with a lot of their hybrid / diesel related cars. While the EPA estimates tend to be very low, many car drivers state that they get even more on the road!
VW Jetta - 29 City / 40 Highway
MSRP: $18,800 base
Just like the Golf, the Jetta is another car to look into. They have both a diesel model, as well as a hybrid model. While the car owners love the technology, they also boast about the longevity of the car as well.
