Toyota Corollas have always been a big seller due to their reliablility, but not too many people are aware they are also very fuel efficient. They give their driver 32 mpg on the highway and 41 mpg around town.
7. Mini Cooper
When you see these cars on the road, they may remind you of matchbox cars from years ago. But these cute little cars are incredibly fuel efficient. They offer 32 mpg highway and 40 mpg around town.
8. Hyundai Accent/Kio Rio
Both of these cars boast a high enough fuel efficiency rating that warrants being in the top ten. They both offer 32 mpg highway and 35 mpg city driving. They both start at just over $10k.
9. Honda Civic
Like it's hybrid counterpart, the gas powered Honda Civic also offers wonderful fuel efficiency. It gives 30 miles to the gallon on highway and 40 miles to the gallon in town. Starting at just under $15K this car will appeal to most anyone.
10. Nissan Versa
Nissans have always been known as reliable cars, but the Nissan Versa puts reliability with an affordable price tag and fuel efficiency. At just over $12K, the Nissa Versa offers 30 mpg highway and 36 mpg city.
